No matter what industrial rigging problem you have, we’ve already been part of the solution. We have already tackled, and accomplished what most folks consider a challenge.
When you’ve been in business as long as we have and faced technology’s increasingly rapid developments, you learn a few things. Or, in our case, more than a few. We not only have simple, ready-to-implement solutions for almost every problem, we have the patents for them, too. And, if you bring us something new, our engineers would love to work with you to find the solution.
Binnacle’s mission is to provide modern, highly trained rigging and millwright personnel to match the demanding needs of companies competing in today’s international marketplace.
With our culture of continuous improvement and with high expectations of ourselves, we can offer you the superior skills and productivity (= less cost) required in the continuing battle to improve your market position. And you’ll find we have the very highest standards for Safety, Quality, and Integrity.
Our talented supervisors have a minimum of ten years experience in their respective primary fields. In fact, all of our personnel have multiple skills that enable us to perform our work with minimum crew sizes and in less time.
In addition we have expertise with large and complex project management LEAN processes.
Binnacle’s professional Millwrights activities include installing, assembling, and even dismantling machinery on-site. We consult with engineers and managers to determine the best location to place a machine and then transport, place, and assemble all of the parts in the desired location. We’ll use whatever it takes to get the job done: forklifts, hoists, winches, and even cranes if necessary.
To achieve the extreme tolerances required by modern machines, Binnacle uses precision measuring devices like micrometers. This achievement on both new and old equipment provides for vibration isolation, thereby extending the life of your equipment.
In addition to moving and assembly, Binnacle also provides major repairs and disassembly of machines. If you need to clear space for new machinery we’ll break down your old machines, a task just as complicated as assembly. You can be confident that everything will be taken apart carefully, categorized, and package for shipping. And we’ll use the same care and precision to reassemble it at your final location.
Some specialties include:
- Shaft/Roll Alignment
- Machine foundation, assembly, disassembly
